Description: Some users with Dell Latitude 5300 laptops have reported issues with the microphone audio of their laptop sounding poor/robotic. The issue is being caused by the built in Dell noise cancelation. Seems to be most prevalent with Zoom as Zoom also does noise cancellation.

Solution: The easy solution to  this problem is to simply disable the Dell noise cancellation.

To Disable Noise Cancelation...

1) Go to the start menu and type in “maxx.” The application MaxxAudioPro should appear. Click That.

2) Once in the MaxxAudioPro application select the right most button in the top navigation which is the voice settings.

3) Under voice settings, look for the blue toggle in the top left. Click that to switch it OFF. It is also recommended to look at the microphone volume setting while you’re here. Move it to at least halfway maybe a hair more (We would not go to the maximum, as that could cause distortion).
